Detailed Job Description:
Role -
- Responsible for executing client related engagements in the areas of Public Finance, Process and technology reforms, Public Expenditure Reforms, Monitoring & Evaluation, Budget process reforms
- Anticipate and identify engagement related risks and escalate issues as appropriate
- Actively establish & strengthen client (functional heads & key influencers) and internal relationships
- Assist in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives
- Create a positive learning culture, coaches, counsels and develops junior team members
- Identify & escalate potential business opportunities for the firm on existing client engagements
- Design and develop analytical framework/reports/dashboards using data analytics tools and techniques
Responsibilities -
Service delivery related
Research & Analysis
- Conduct industry and market research using secondary data sources to derive insights
- Analyze financial statements, sectoral trends, and regulatory updates
- Support in benchmarking studies and peer comparisons
- Prepare concise and impactful reports, briefing notes, and presentations
Business Support & Reporting
- Assist in developing business dashboards and trackers for internal/external stakeholders
- Compile and clean data for further analysis and visualization
- Prepare periodic MIS reports and analytical summaries using Excel or PowerPoint
Client Engagement Support
- Support consulting teams in financial modelling, ratio analysis, and business case development
- Help structure business problems and participate in brainstorming solutions
- Prepare drafts for client deliverables under guidance of senior team members
- Tools & Techniques (with Learning Support)
- Exposure to MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for day-to-day work
- Willingness to learn data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) and basic SQL
- Interest in learning analytics tools like Python, R, or Alteryx (training support will be provided)
- Deployment will be done at client location for long durations
People related
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively discharge supervisory responsibilities
- Manage small teams – motivate, counsel & develop new team members
- Demonstrate ability to conceptualize & translate lessons learned on client engagements into relevant training sessions for junior colleagues and contribute to learning & development initiatives
- Provide real-time constructive verbal feedback to team members and facilitate timely completion of engagement review forms

Key Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (0–1 year of experience)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good understanding of financial concepts, industry frameworks, and economic indicators
- Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
