Key Responsibilities

Developer Experience & Self-Service

• Build and enhance self-service developer platforms, portals, and automation that improve engineering productivity.
• Simplify developer onboarding, environment provisioning, and software delivery workflows.

Platform & Application Engineering

• Design, develop, and operate full-stack platform solutions using React, APIs, databases, and cloud-native technologies.
• Own solutions end-to-end from architecture through production support.
• Build and manage scalable platform services on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.

DevOps & Automation

• Implement GitOps practices and CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.
• Automate platform operations, governance, and developer workflows.

Developer Tooling & Supply Chain

• Manage developer tooling, artifact repositories, and software supply chain controls.
• Drive standardization and governance of development environments and platform services.

Security & Governance

• Embed security-by-design, authentication, authorization, and compliance controls into platform solutions.
• Ensure secure and governed consumption of platform capabilities.

Internal Developer Platform (Preferred)

• Contribute to developer platforms such as Backstage and related engineering enablement solutions.
• Drive adoption of reusable platform capabilities, golden paths, and self-service experiences.

Key skills required: 

• Hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, Full-Stack Engineer, or Developer Experience Engineer, owning solutions from design through production.
• Strong hands-on software development experience in: React, Backend API development (FastAPI, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, or equivalent), Database-backed systems supporting configuration, telemetry, audit, and operational data
• Experience with artifact repositories such as Nexus, including repository consumption models, dependency governance, and software supply chain controls
• Practical experience with GitOps methodologies, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and automated CI/CD workflows
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, including deploying and operating platform services, managing configuration, secrets, and application lifecycle
• Experience integrating enterprise systems using REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and policy enforcement mechanisms
• Strong understanding of security-by-design principles and experience operating within regulated enterprise environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and platform domains
• Strong experience with AWS services, designing and operating secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native applications and platform components
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure through automated pipelines.

Nice-to-have:

• Solid understanding of macOS internals and security, including endpoint management, privilege boundaries, GUI versus shell execution models, and device hardening
• Deep working knowledge of Homebrew, including formulae, casks, taps, package governance, and associated security considerations
• Experience with internal developer platforms and portals such as Backstage
• Experience designing and operating developer workstations, developer desktop platforms, or enterprise engineering productivity solutions
• Familiarity with developer onboarding, environment provisioning, software delivery governance, and developer productivity measurement.
