Role Overview

The Consultant – Oracle SCM Manufacturing is an entry-to-mid level delivery role responsible for supporting the implementation and support of Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Manufacturing solutions. The role focuses on hands-on configuration support, testing, documentation, and business process understanding under the guidance of Senior Consultants and Managers, contributing to successful manufacturing and supply chain transformation engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle SCM Manufacturing Implementation Support

• Support configuration of Oracle Fusion Manufacturing modules including:
• Inventory Management
• Bills of Material (BOM)
• Work in Process (WIP)
• Cost Management
• Manufacturing Execution (as applicable)
• Assist in requirements gathering, solution design, and documentation activities
• Maintain configuration workbooks, functional specifications, and test scripts
• Execute unit testing and support SIT and UAT cycles
• Support cutover activities, data validation, and post-go-live stabilization

Functional Analysis & Process Understanding

• Learn and understand client manufacturing and supply chain processes
• Assist in mapping business requirements to Oracle Fusion Manufacturing functionality
• Support Oracle EBS or legacy system data migration and reconciliation activities
• Work with cross-functional teams (Planning, Procurement, Finance, Quality) to support integrated solutions

Client Interaction & Collaboration

• Participate in client workshops, walkthroughs, and training sessions
• Assist in responding to client queries and resolving issues under supervision
• Support preparation of status reports and delivery artifacts
• Build effective working relationships with client users and internal team members

Team Collaboration & Delivery Support

• Work closely with Senior Consultants and Managers on assigned tasks
• Follow delivery standards, templates, and best practices
• Support knowledge transfer, documentation, and process walkthroughs
• Contribute to timely and high-quality delivery of assigned activities

Learning, Certification & Professional Development

• Actively pursue Oracle SCM Manufacturing training and certifications
• Stay current with Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and new manufacturing features
• Develop functional, communication, and consulting skills
• Participate in internal SCM capability-building initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory

• 2–4 years of experience in Oracle SCM, Oracle Cloud Applications, or ERP implementations
• Basic to intermediate understanding of Oracle Fusion Manufacturing modules
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain fundamentals
• Willingness to work in a global delivery or offshore model

Preferred

• Experience in Big-4 or large system integrators
• Exposure to Oracle EBS Manufacturing or Inventory modules
• Experience in testing, data migration, or reporting activities
• Oracle SCM Manufacturing certification or ongoing certification pursuit
