Your work profile
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Consultant with a strong background in data migration from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Financials. The individual will be responsible for designing and executing data migration activities across key financial modules, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Deloitte and client standards.
The role requires a combination of functional understanding, technical proficiency, and experience in managing large-scale data conversions as part of Oracle Cloud implementation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver end-to-end data migration activities from Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud Financials.
- Define and implement the data migration strategy, including extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation requirements.
- Prepare and manage FBDI, ADFDI, and other Oracle standard templates for data upload and validation.
- Support data extraction and transformation using SQL, PL/SQL, or related tools, ensuring compliance with Oracle Cloud data models.
- Validate data migration results through reconciliation, audit checks, and business sign-offs.
- Document all migration activities, including assumptions, data mapping logic, and issue logs.
- Provide post-migration support and resolution of data-related issues during cutover and stabilization.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in Oracle ERP implementations, with at least 2 end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials migrations.
- Proven experience in migrating data from Oracle EBS (R12 or 11i) to Oracle Cloud (Fusion) for key modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).
- Strong understanding of Oracle Financials data structures and functional processes.
- Hands-on experience with:
- FBDI / ADFDI templates and Data Management tools
- SQL / PL/SQL scripting for data extraction and transformation
- Oracle Cloud Data Load utilities and reconciliation processes
- Ability to design and execute data validation and reconciliation frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Cloud Financials Certification.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other integration platforms.
- Exposure to automation tools or accelerators for data migration.
- Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing environment.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

You will contribute to defining data migration approaches, leading conversion activities, and ensuring data quality across critical financial processes.
