Role Overview
We are seeking an SAP ATTP Consultant to support the design, configuration, and delivery of serialization and compliance processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP ATTP, understanding of global serialization regulations, and strong cross-functional knowledge across packaging, supply chain, distribution, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1) Solution Design & Configuration
- Conduct requirement workshops for serialization, aggregation, and regulatory reporting across packaging lines and distribution.
- Should have 6-8 years of experinec.
- Configure SAP ATTP components:
- Serialization repository setup
- Object management (SSCC, GTIN, batch/expiry, serial number ranges)
- Aggregation hierarchy (unit → carton → case → pallet)
- Track & Trace event capture and EPCIS messaging
- Interfaces with packaging line systems (L3/L4), Level 5 solutions (e.g., SAP ICH, external authorities).
- Define solution architecture for regulatory systems such as:
- US DSCSA
- EU FMD
- Russia, Turkey, Brazil, India, China serialization (as applicable).
2) Integration & Data Management
- Work with integration teams for EPCIS, PI/PO, Integration Suite, and line systems (e.g., Systech, Antares, Optel, TraceLink).
- Support master data flows: GTINs, materials, batches, locations, partners, serial ranges.
- Validate interface mappings, payloads, and transaction movements across ATTP and external repositories.
3) Testing & Deployment
- Create test scripts and conduct Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT, ensuring compliance with GMP validation requirements.
- Support IQ/OQ/PQ documentation and system validation activities required in pharmaceutical environments.
- Execute cutover: serial number initialization, master data setup, partner onboarding, and packaging line readiness.
- Provide go-live and hypercare support for stabilization.
4) Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure solutions comply with global pharmaceutical serialization mandates.
- Develop SOPs, functional specs, system configuration documents, and validation packages.
- Handle audit queries and support inspections related to serialization readiness.
5) Support & Continuous Improvement
- Troubleshoot serialization failures, data mismatches, EPCIS errors, and partner connectivity issues.
- Enhance reporting, dashboards, and exception management for packaging and warehouse operations.
- Recommend improvements for serialization governance and supply chain traceability.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical & Functional Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP ATTP, ATTP 2.0+ preferred.
- Strong understanding of:
- Serialization (unit-level, multi-level aggregation).
- EPCIS 1.2 / 1.3 message standards.
- Serial number management and range allocation.
- Global regulatory requirements (EU FMD, US DSCSA, and at least one other region).
- Experience integrating ATTP with:
- SAP S/4HANA, ERP, EWM, Packaging line systems, Enterprise serialization repositories.
- Experience writing Functional Specifications and working with technical teams for enhancements.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills required for regulated environments.
- Ability to work with packaging, warehouse, QA, IT, and regulatory teams.
- Analytical problem-solving with attention to detail and compliance mindset.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Life Sciences, Pharma, or related field.
- SAP ATTP certification preferred.
- Understanding of GxP, GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance is an advantage.
