Your work profile

• Lead SAP FICO workstream activities across implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support engagements in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Gather business requirements and conduct workshops with finance stakeholders to understand and design scalable SAP Finance solutions.
• Configure and support key SAP FI components, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Financial Closing processes.
• Configure and support SAP CO functionalities, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Cost Allocation processes.
• Design and implement end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) and financial controlling processes aligned with business objectives and SAP best practices.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate closely with ABAP and technical teams for developments, reports, forms, workflows, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Drive Fit-Gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, data validation, user training, cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP FICO and other modules, including MM, SD, PS, PP, and Treasury functions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliation processes, reporting requirements, and audit compliance initiatives.
• Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide effective resolutions to business challenges.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and participate in client-facing discussions, workshops, and project governance meetings.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to process improvements and SAP best practices adoption.

Key Requirements:

• 6-10+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience with strong hands-on configuration expertise.
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.
• Strong expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Taxation, and Financial Closing processes.
• Strong expertise in Controlling (CO) including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and CO-PA.
• Experience in at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects, preferably involving SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of integration between FICO and MM, SD, PS, PP, and other SAP modules.
• Experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, user training, and documentation.
• Ability to prepare detailed functional specifications and coordinate effectively with technical and integration teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact directly with client stakeholders and business leadership.
• Experience in financial process transformation, reporting, controls, and compliance initiatives is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as required and work in a client-facing consulting role.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• SAP FICO or SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent finance certifications will be an added advantage.
• Additional certifications in SAP S/4HANA, project delivery methodologies, or related finance domains are desirable.
