Role Overview

We are seeking an SAP Material Management (MM) Consultant to support end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support activities within the MM module. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes, along with hands‑on SAP configuration experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Functional & Technical Delivery

• Conduct requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders.
• Analyze, document, and map business processes to SAP MM functionalities.
• Should have 6-8 years of relevant experinec.
• Configure SAP MM components including:
• Procurement (PR/PO)
• Source determination & quota arrangement
• Inventory Management & Goods Movements
• Material Master, Vendor Master
• Invoice Verification
• Material Valuation and Account Determination
• External Services Management (ESM)
• Develop and execute test scripts for Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.

2. Business Engagement

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (SD, FI/CO, PP, QM, WM) for integrated processes.
• Support business users during system deployment and go-live.
• Provide post‑implementation support and resolve issues within SLAs.

3. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare functional specifications for WRICEF objects.
• Maintain configuration documents, process flows, and user training manuals.
• Ensure adherence to quality and compliance guidelines.

4. Support & Enhancements

• Assist with system upgrades, patches, and performance improvements.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and best‑practice adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Skills

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in SAP MM implementation or support.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and inventory processes.
• Knowledge of integration points with FI/CO, SD, PP, and QM modules.
• Experience with:
• Pricing procedures
• Material valuation
• Batch management & serial number management
• Release strategies

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SAP configuration within SPRO.
• Ability to write functional specs and work with ABAP developers.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM (Fiori apps, simplified data model) is an advantage.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Graduation Degree.
• SAP MM certification (preferred but not mandatory).
