Your Work Profile 

 

  • As a Deputy Manager in our Cyber Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. 

 

Key skills required:

  • Experience- · Total of 6+ years of experience in IT sector or datacenter IT services or similar works; and · Out of total experience, minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Information Security/ Cyber Security/ SOC in a datacenter
  • The key roles and responsibilities of Security Specialist includes, but is not limited to, the following:
  •  Evaluate the current cybersecurity posture of SOC and provide recommendations.
  • Help in developing an integrated and centralised cybersecurity framework.
  • Assess and review the current CCMP (Cyber Crisis Management Plan), information security policies and support in developing the new CCMP and information security policies in line with the latest cybersecurity framework, ISO 27001, CERT-In, MeitY guidelines, and other applicable standards.
  • Continuously assess, review, and monitor cybersecurity and resilience measures.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of SOC at periodic intervals and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Assist the department in conducting internal & external security audits and provide remediation guidance for closure of identified risks, observations, gaps, and vulnerabilities. 
  • Analyze SOC findings and provide recommendations for enhancing detection and response capabilities.
  • Review, validate, and recommend improvements to the Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
  • Analyze and advise on newly discovered vulnerabilities or exploits that may affect department systems.
  • Support the department in ensuring that the SOC adheres to the defined SLAs and incident management procedures.
  • Investigate, document, and report on all major information security incidents and emerging threats.
  • Support the department & SOC team in cyber forensic investigations and incident response activities.
  • Ensure alignment of implemented security controls with the SOC contractual and regulatory obligations.
  • Maintain audit logs, documentation, and evidence for all assessments, in a manner suitable for departmental review.
  • Work closely with the SOC teams, and empaneled vendors to ensure coordinated responses to security incidents.
  • Coordinate with various departments of the State Government, as required. 
  • Prepare presentations, Preliminary Project Reports (PPRs) / Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), RFP documents, SOPs, guidelines, and other necessary documents, as required.
  • Participate in periodic review meetings with management.
  • Education Qualification - MCA or B.E. / B.Tech. in CS/IT/E&C
  • Certification: Certified in CISA/ CISM/ CISSP (at least one) or equivalent Certification
