Skills Required
- Must have good technical knowledge on different versions of SharePoint (2013/2016)
- Installing and Configuring a SharePoint Environment
- Configure SharePoint farms, Alternate Access Mappings (AAM), Zones and Authentication
- SharePoint patch management
- Configure Service Applications (BDC, MMS, UPS, Search etc)
- Configuring logging, quotas, monitoring levels, health reports, security
- Managing user accounts, managed accounts and service accounts
- Monitor and analyse SharePoint environment, generating health, administrative and web analytics reports
- Identifying and resolving health and performance issues
- Good understanding of various identity providers such as Azure AD, and configuring using custom claim provider
- Custom solution deployment on SharePoint Server
- Installing and Configuring Workflow Manager
- Installing and Configuring Office Web App Server/Office Online Server
- Knowledge on Load balancers is added advantage
- Operating Systems Concepts - Active Directory, Security, Performance
- Networking concepts - DNS, Protocols, Devices
- IIS Concepts - Configuration, Architecture, SSL
- Windows Architecture – Event monitoring, Memory Management concepts
- .NET basic concepts, Web architecture
- SQL Server Configuration and Administration – Cluster and Always ON
- Tools - Netmon, Perfmon, SQL Profiler, Fiddler
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Experience on Workflow, SharePoint Designer, PowerShell Scripting is added advantage.
