The Team

The team is a central team which assists the engagement team in the client and acceptance procedure. The team works closely with the business and function across service line to provide them evaluation of the conflicts. The team works on the set procedures and policies provided by Global team.

Your Work Profile

• The person would be part of the public policy endeavours of the firm. S/he would assist the Public Policy leader (a Partner) or other firm leaders on various public policy endeavours, be part of various conversations or preparation on public policy, be it with the policy makers or the clients.
• The person would also be part of global connect, through the Partner, on various public policy endeavours of Deloitte South Asia as well as the Global Public Policy group. S/he will be responsible for preparing reports on regular basis, in consultation with the Partner for the Asia Pacific forum as well as the global forum, including reporting on and preparing relevant public policy papers. The person shall be responsible for implementation of some public policy work with other team members within Deloitte South Asia.

Key Skills Required

• The person should have a master’s degree in either economics (with a concentration on macroeconomics, econometrics) or master’s in public policy (international trade, ESG, public finance) from a reputed university. Relevant work experience with government ministries/departments for at least 2 to 3 years will be preferred.
• Proficiency in statistical tools and data visualisation is a must.
