Role Overview

The OTC Collections Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end collections process within the Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle. This includes ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve disputes and improve cash flow.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collections Management:
  • Contact customers to collect overdue payments via calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Negotiate payment plans and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Dispute Resolution:
  • Work with internal teams (Billing, Sales, Customer Service) to resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes promptly.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate records of collection activities and account statuses.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure all collection activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify gaps in the OTC process and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in OTC collections or accounts receivable in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash processes, credit management, and cash application.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with collections software or CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and risk management.
