Job Title:  Manager | Capital Projects | Delhi | Operations, Industry & Domain Solutions | ERI Solutions

Purpose:

The Manager - Capital Projects will be responsible for driving project controls, digital project management, schedule governance, cost monitoring, and management reporting across capital projects. The role will support planning, execution, and performance tracking of large-scale industrial projects while leveraging digital tools and analytics to enhance project visibility, decision-making, and delivery efficiency.


Key Responsibilities


Project Planning & Schedule Management

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Establish project baselines, milestones, critical paths, and resource-loaded schedules.
  • Track project progress and identify schedule variances, risks, and delays.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure timely project execution.

Cost Monitoring & Project Controls

  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, commitments, and actual expenditures.
  • Analyze cost variances and support corrective action planning.
  • Develop project control mechanisms to improve cost and schedule performance.
  • Support capital expenditure tracking and management reporting.

MIS, Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Prepare weekly and monthly project MIS reports for leadership review.
  • Develop and maintain real-time project dashboards using digital tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
  • Provide insights on project health, KPI performance, schedule adherence, and cost performance.
  • Standardize project reporting formats across multiple projects.

Digital Project Management

  • Drive implementation and adoption of digital project management solutions.
  • Leverage analytics, automation, and visualization tools to improve project monitoring and decision-making.
  • Integrate project data from multiple sources to create centralized reporting systems.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives within project execution and project controls functions.
  • Recommend and implement best practices in digital project management, data governance, and project analytics.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, consultants, and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project review meetings and present project performance updates to management.
  • Ensure alignment of project objectives with business priorities and governance requirements.

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Experience in Project Controls, Scheduling, and Cost Management.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Excel Automation, or similar dashboarding tools.
  • Understanding of EPC/EPCM project execution methodologies.
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks and governance processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
