Job Title:  Manager | Energy | Delhi | Operations, Industry & Domain Solutions (Lucknow/ Delhi-NCR)

The Team

As a member of the T&T – ERI team, you will embark on an exciting and fulfilling journey with a group of intelligent and innovative globally aware individuals. The team provides a range of advisory and assurance services to clients in the private and public sector on a broad range of aspects relating to renewable energy, climate change, and sustainability.

The focus of the team is on strategic analyses of key concerns in renewable energy and sustainability – including strategy development, implementation, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, governance systems, sustainable finance, stakeholder engagement, reporting and assurance.

Work you’ll do

 You will be working on solving full spectrum of power, utilities and energy sector challenges across a wide range of clients. You will not just be working on ideas and recommendations to solve the client’s challenges, in most cases you would also be walking with the client in implementing those recommendations and in advising them during the same.

Continuous learning at a team level and at an individual level will be your responsibility and ensuring that you have lots of fun while doing all this is our responsibility.

Your Prime Responsibilities

You would be working on projects with Governments, Utilities, International Financing / Development Institutions, NGOs and private entities, advising on energy transition and related aspects. You would be expected to work on high quality research reports, analysis and studies relating to renewable energy, cross border electricity trade and electricity transmission.

A few role-based responsibilities for the position are described below:

·      Working both collaboratively and individually as a part of project teams to address complex market, strategic, operational, and organizational issues energy sector

·      Understand client requirements, project scope and deliverable requirements

·      Undertake research, stakeholder engagement analysis and packaging of client deliverables.

·      Gather information via primary client interviews and workshops, as well as secondary research, test hypothesis and provide analysis of the data to derive key findings for the client.

·      Perform data validation and analysis. Develop models and draw key insights from the results and develop client recommendations

·      Formulate robust, and grounded analysis and plans to support strategic initiatives for the clients and advise them on adoption of programs and processes for the same.

·      Aggregate findings and recommendations into reports, presentations, and/or dashboards, and contribute to formulating and distilling deep insightful takeaways for the clients

·      Participate and lead in client meetings for presenting the findings and recommendations to the client

·      Assist proposal team in conducting sector research, research to support client context, conducting analysis on client situation, preparing proposal document, etc.

·      Assist in scope and approach definition in collaboration with Associate Directors, Directors, etc.

·      Support propositions, engagements, and large strategic pursuits across Deloitte’s service areas.

Skills Required

• GRaduation ( Full time)

·      More than six years of post-MBA/ M. Tech. relevant experienc

·      Demonstrated experience in renewable energy, power sector or utility and consulting. Experience in regulatory domain, tariff filing 

• experince in ARR ( Aggregate revenue requirement )

·      Prior experience in management consulting or operations in energy sector.

·      Strong data analytics and visualization skills, comfortable working with large datasets, both in Excel and beyond

• Financial modelling

·      Ability to take up economic analysis, financial analysis

·      Fluent communications skills in English and Hindi

·      Excellent interpersonal skills.
