Job Title: Manager | Fusion Financial - PPM | Delhi | Oracle
Role Overview
The Manager – Oracle Financials & PPM is a delivery leadership role responsible for managing Oracle Fusion Financials and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) workstreams, leading module teams, and delivering project-centric finance transformations for global clients. The role combines strong functional expertise in Financials and PPM with hands-on delivery management, client interaction, and team leadership within a global delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Workstream Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion Financials and PPM workstreams across multiple releases
- Manage requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables; ensure adherence to delivery standards
- Act as the primary escalation point for Financials-PPM workstream issues and risks
- Support cutover planning, data validation, and stabilization activities
Oracle Financials & PPM Functional Leadership
- Act as functional lead across Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) and PPM modules
- (Projects, Project Costing, Billing, Contracts, Grants)
- Drive solution design for project accounting, capitalization, cost collection, billing, and revenue recognition
- Support Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud migrations involving Financials and PPM
- Ensure solutions align with Oracle leading practices and client business requirements
- Collaborate with OIC, Reporting (BIP/OTBI), and APEX teams for end-to-end solutions
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary Finance-PPM workstream contact for client stakeholders
- Lead client workshops, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs
- Provide regular status updates to program leadership and governance forums
- Build strong working relationships with client finance, PMO, and project accounting teams
Global Delivery & Team Leadership
- Lead and manage offshore and hybrid delivery teams (10–25+ resources)
- Allocate work, review deliverables, and ensure quality and productivity
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across Finance, SCM, Integrations, and Reporting
- Support knowledge transfer and transition across delivery phases
People Development & Capability Building
- Mentor Senior Consultants and Consultants across Financials and PPM
- Support Oracle Financials-PPM certification and upskilling initiatives
- Provide performance feedback, coaching, and career development guidance
- Promote reuse of assets, templates, and best practices
Financial & Commercial Support
- Support effort estimation, planning, and tracking for Financials-PPM workstreams
- Assist with scope control, change requests, and impact analysis
- Ensure accurate time booking and compliance with delivery controls
- Drive delivery efficiency and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
- 8–11 years of experience in Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud Applications
- Strong hands-on and delivery leadership experience in Oracle Fusion Financials and PPM
- Experience leading Finance-PPM workstreams and managing delivery teams
- Exposure to Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud Financials-PPM implementations or migrations
- Strong understanding of delivery lifecycle, testing, and deployment processes
Preferred
- Experience in Big-4 or large global system integrators
- Experience with project-centric industries (EPC, BFSI, Public Sector, Energy, Manufacturing)
- Exposure to integrations (OIC), reporting (BI Publisher / OTBI), or extensions (APEX)
- Oracle Fusion Financials and/or PPM certification(s)
