Job Summary

The Manager – Oracle Fusion Financials will lead the implementation, support, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Financials modules to support business finance operations. The role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage end-to-end finance system processes while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation, rollout, and support of Oracle Fusion Financials modules including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Cash Management (CM)
  • Expenses
  • Act as the functional lead for Oracle Fusion Financials, managing configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes within Oracle Fusion.
  • Oversee data migration, reconciliation, and financial validations during implementation or upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Handle integration points with other Oracle modules (Procurement, SCM, Projects, HCM) and third-party systems.
  • Lead UAT activities, user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization using Oracle Fusion capabilities.
  • Manage vendors, consultants, and internal team members as required.
  • Provide ongoing issue resolution, root cause analysis, and performance improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (CA / MBA preferred).
  • 7–10 years of experience in Oracle Financials, with minimum 3–5 years in Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Strong functional knowledge of core finance processes and accounting principles.
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials configuration and support.
  • Experience managing end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementations or upgrades.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance controls.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle Fusion Financials certification.
  • Experience in FSI/manufacturing / automotive / shared services / global organizations.
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud integrations, OTBI, BI Publisher, and FBDI.
  • Experience working in multi-currency, multi-ledger, and multi-entity environments.
