Your work profile
As a Manager in our Oracle Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
The Oracle Fusion Financials Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of Oracle Cloud Financials (ERP) engagements, including implementations, rollouts, AMS, and transformation programs. The role involves managing client interactions, leading functional teams, ensuring design integrity across sub-ledgers, and driving best practices in financial process design leveraging Oracle Cloud capabilities.
The individual will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with finance transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design & Implementation
- Lead design and configuration of Oracle Fusion Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Tax.
- Drive end-to-end solutioning for finance processes such as Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
- Oversee integration of Financials with SCM, HCM, and external systems (banks, tax engines, reporting tools).
- Review and validate functional setups, test scripts, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Support quarterly update testing and regression validation.
2. Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and delivery quality across functional streams.
- Act as primary client contact for Oracle Financials, facilitating workshops, CRP/UAT sessions, and status reviews.
- Coordinate with technical and OIC integration teams for interface and data migration design.
- Ensure deliverables meet audit, SOX, and financial compliance standards.
3. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of functional consultants and analysts (onsite/offshore).
- Review configuration documentation, issue logs, and change requests.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, standardization, and reuse of Oracle Cloud assets.
4. Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Oracle Cloud practice (automation, AI enablement, process optimization).
- Support AMS transition and stabilization for post-go-live operations.
- Engage in pre-sales activities including solution estimation, proposal development, and client presentations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10–14 years of experience in Oracle Financials, with at least 4–5 years in Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion).
- Strong expertise in the following modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Tax.
- Good understanding of Subledger Accounting (SLA), Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), and Approvals Workflow.
- Experience in at least 2 full-cycle Oracle Cloud implementations (design to go-live).
- Strong business understanding of accounting principles, IFRS/US GAAP, and financial closing processes.
- Hands-on exposure to data migration, integrations (OIC), and OTBI reporting.
- Proven ability to work with business users, manage requirements, and translate them into system configurations.
- PMP/Prince2 or Oracle Cloud certification preferred.
Location and way of working
- Base location: PAN India
- This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
