Role Overview
The Manager – Oracle Fusion Financials is a key delivery leadership role responsible for managing Oracle Fusion Financials workstreams, leading module teams, and delivering high-quality Finance transformations for global clients. The role requires strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials combined with hands-on delivery management, client interaction, and team leadership within a global delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Workstream Management
- Lead Oracle Fusion Financials workstreams across modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM
- Manage end-to-end delivery activities including requirements, design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Track milestones, dependencies, and deliverables; ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards
- Identify delivery risks and issues, escalate appropriately, and drive timely resolution
- Support release planning, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization
Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Leadership
- Act as the functional lead for one or more Oracle Fusion Financials modules
- Drive solution design aligned with Oracle leading practices and client business requirements
- Support Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud Finance migrations, including data, setup, and reconciliation
- Collaborate with technical and integration teams on reports, extensions, and interfaces
- Support adoption of automation, reporting, and analytics capabilities within Finance
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Finance workstream stakeholders
- Conduct client workshops, design discussions, and solution walkthroughs
- Provide regular status updates and support governance forums
- Build strong working relationships with client managers, finance leads, and super users
Global Delivery & Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor offshore and onshore team members (8–20+ resources)
- Allocate tasks, review deliverables, and ensure productivity and quality
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including SCM, EPM, Data, and Integrations
- Support knowledge transfer and transition activities across delivery phases
People Development & Capability Building
- Coach Senior Consultants and Consultants on Oracle Fusion Financials
- Support certification, training, and upskilling initiatives
- Contribute to performance feedback, career development, and team engagement
- Promote best practices, reusable assets, and standard delivery approaches
Financial & Commercial Support
- Support effort estimation, planning, and tracking for Finance workstreams
- Assist with scope management, change requests, and impact assessments
- Ensure accurate time booking and compliance with delivery and financial controls
- Drive efficiency and continuous improvement across delivery activities
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
- 7–10 years of experience in Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud Applications
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
- Experience leading Finance workstreams and managing delivery teams
- Exposure to Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud Finance implementations or migrations
- Strong understanding of delivery lifecycle, testing, and deployment processes
Preferred
- Experience in Big 4 or large system integrators
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models
- Experience working with global clients across BFSI, Consumer, Manufacturing, or Technology sectors
- Oracle Fusion Financials certification(s)
