Job description:

1. Research Prioritization & Literature Review:

Lead the identification and prioritization of key research areas that align with the NOHM's objectives.

Oversee comprehensive literature reviews to support the development of evidence based strategies and interventions.

2. Conceptualization, Formulation, and Drafting of Research Protocols:

Draft detailed research protocols, ensuring scientific rigor and alignment with the mission's objectives.

Facilitate protocol review processes, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine and finalize documents.

3. Identifying and Engaging Partners:

Identify and engage key partners, including academic institutions, research organizations, and industry stakeholders.

Foster strategic collaborations to leverage expertise, resources, and networks for the NOHM.

4. Technical Evaluation and Protocol Review:

Lead the technical evaluation of research proposals and projects, ensuring alignment with NOHM priorities.

Coordinate and manage the review of research protocols, ensuring they meet scientific and ethical standards.

Finalize protocols in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring readiness for implementation.

5. Project Launch and Fund Management:

Oversee the finalization of project protocols, securing necessary approvals for fund release.

Manage the launch of projects, ensuring all operational aspects are in place.

Coordinate with financial teams to ensure proper allocation and management of funds.

6. Training Coordination:

Ensure that training is aligned with project needs and builds capacity for effective implementation.

Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.

7. Rollout and Site Implementation:

Coordinate with site teams to ensure smooth implementation, addressing any challenges that arise.

Monitor progress and provide ongoing support to ensure successful project execution.

8. Monitoring & Evaluation:

Develop and implement a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to assess project outcomes.

Regularly review project performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Ensure that evaluation results are used to inform future project planning and decision-making.

9. Troubleshooting:

Proactively identify and address challenges that arise during project implementation.

Provide technical and managerial support to resolve issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.

Liaise with stakeholders to ensure all concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

10. Liaison with PSA Office and Stakeholders:

Act as the primary point of contact between the NOHM and the PSA Office, ensuring clear

communication and coordination.

Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and information

sharing.

Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned with NOHM goals and are contributing to project success.

11. Interministerial Approvals:

Coordinate the process of securing interministerial approvals for NOHM initiatives.

Work closely with relevant government departments to ensure timely approvals and support.

Navigate bureaucratic processes efficiently to keep projects on track.

12. Designing Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs):

Develop and standardize SoPs for various aspects of NOHM operations.

Ensure that SoPs are comprehensive, clear, and facilitate smooth project execution.

Regularly review and update SoPs to reflect new developments and best practices.

13. Meetings and Coordination:

Organize and lead regular meetings with consultants, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.

Ensure that meetings are productive, with clear agendas and actionable outcomes.

Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to drive project success.

14. Support to Nodal Officer and Stakeholder Departments:

Provide ongoing support to the Nodal Officer at ICMR and other stakeholder departments.

Ensure that all aspects of NOHM are conducted smoothly and efficiently, addressing any challenges as they arise.
