The team
The Deloitte Strategy, Risk and Transactions (SRT) team consist of highly skilled and experienced professionals dedicated to providing companies with customized investment banking, infrastructure finance & public-private partnership, restructuring, insolvency services. Our team of client focused industry leaders is committed to working to address the range of client transactions.
Deloitte’s global Infrastructure Advisory teams advise clients ranging from entrepreneurially owned businesses, corporates, private equity, and institutional investors to governments, management teams, and individuals. This global scale and connectivity, combined with local market insight and industry knowledge, underpin the integrated solutions that Deloitte's Corporate Finance and Restructuring Services teams consistently deliver for clients.
As part of the team, the Infrastructure advisory focuses on both the public sector in structuring and procuring their PPP contracts, and private sector consortia on bid development, deal structuring, project financing and contract negotiation.

Your work profile
As a Manager in our Infrastructure and Capital Projects Team within the Strategy, Restructuring and Transactions Service Line you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
- Support in business Development in the multiple sectors and services. Responsible for creation of pitch books and other deliverables
- Support in preparation of business case, feasibility studies, marketing collaterals etc.
- Support the team and clients on issues pertaining to Public-Private Partnerships across the project life cycle
- Preparation of robust financial models
- Preparation of transaction documents and support the team though all stages the transaction or project execution phase
- Assist in Transaction Advisory, Bid Advisory and Bid Process Management
- High commitment to learn and deliver across the transaction lifecycle.
- Mentoring and supporting fellow team members on engagements and show extremely high level of commitment for driving transaction / project closures.
- Support in Deal Origination and Business Development
- Assist the team leaders within sector and product coverage, write thought papers, etc.
Desired Qualifications:
- Graduate in engineering / commerce/ finance/ economics/ business administration etc.
- MBA /CA/CFA
Skills Required:
- You need to be an analytical problem solver with developed sector knowledge and exposure.
- Experience in infrastructure and public sector or government sector is required, along with project management experience.
- Professional qualification is a plus. PM/PMO and stakeholder engagement experience will be of relevance.
- You will work on diverse assignments, providing strategic advisory on government and infrastructure projects, conducting financial analysis, preparing reports and presentations, and engaging with geography team to solve complex problems and support client conversations.
- Interest in working in a challenging and dynamic environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proactive and an inquisitive mind, with a passion to provide world class client service.
- High proficiency with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Thorough understanding of financial statements - profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
- Ability to independently create robust financial models is a must and should have a good understanding of business valuations
Key Experience Required:
- 6 to 10 Years of relevant work experience in Infrastructure finance and Public-Private Partnerships
- Experience related to business plan formulation, investment decisions and business case/ techno-financial feasibilities preparation, project financing and funding, financial analysis and modeling, transaction advisory and similar work
Location and way of working
- Base location: Delhi
- This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations as per the requirement.
