Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Apache OFBiz Manager to lead the implementation, customization, support, and management of enterprise solutions built on the Apache OFBiz framework. The candidate will be responsible for handling technical delivery, team coordination, client communication, and ensuring successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee Apache OFBiz-based application development and support activities.
- Lead technical design, customization, and implementation of OFBiz modules.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and delivery milestones.
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
- Guide and mentor development and support teams.
- Handle issue resolution, deployment, and production support activities.
- Collaborate with database, infrastructure, and integration teams.
- Prepare project status reports and participate in client review meetings.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Apache OFBiz framework.
- Good knowledge of Java, J2EE, Groovy, XML, REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle databases.
- Understanding of ERP/CRM/e-commerce workflows.
- Experience in Linux/Unix environments and deployment management.
- Knowledge of system integration and web services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in government or enterprise-scale projects.
- Knowledge of cloud environments and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MCA, or related field.
- Proven experience in managing enterprise application projects.
