Your work profile
- Lead functional discovery and workshops for order management processes, rules, and integrations.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze current state processes and identify improvement opportunities applicable to the future OMS model.
- Partner with architects and integration teams to clarify design impacts and dependencies.
- Support UAT planning and execution, including clarifying test scenarios, expected outcomes, and sign-off criteria.
- Drive end-to-end traceability of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Mentor junior BAs and support readiness of business SMEs.
Key skills required
SAP SD Implementation & Configuration
- Lead and support complete SAP SD implementation cycles (at least one full lifecycle project is mandatory)
- Configure and customize key SD components:
- Sales Order Management (Inquiry, Quotation, Orders)
- Pricing & Condition Techniques
- Delivery & Shipping
- Billing & Invoicing
- Credit & Debit Memo Processing
- Output Determination
- Set up core SD master data elements:
- Customer Master
- Material Master (SD views)
- Pricing Master
- Partner Functions
- Configure cross-functional areas:
- Copy Controls (Sales → Delivery → Billing)
- Availability Check (ATP)
- Text Determination
- Revenue Account Determination
🔹 Integration & End-to-End Process Design
- Integrate SAP SD with:
- SAP MM (Purchase-to-Order, STO)
- SAP FI/CO (Account Determination, Billing Integration)
- SAP PP (Make-to-Order/Make-to-Stock)
- SAP EWM / LE (Shipping, Warehouse Integration)
- Work with IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Interfaces for:
- Order creation
- Delivery processing
- Third-party & intercompany scenarios
- Collaborate with cross-functional business leads to design scalable Order-to-Cash (OTC/O2C) solutions.
🔹 Production Support / AMS
- Provide L2/L3 support for complex SD scenarios
- Troubleshoot issues across orders, pricing, delivery, billing & output processing
- Resolve interface failures and perform root cause analysis
- Handle change requests, enhancements, and solution improvements
- Work on periodic tasks:
- Month-end closing support
- Pricing updates
- Master data corrections
🔹 Testing & Project Documentation
- Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) and Solution Design Documents
- Support Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT & Regression Testing
- Conduct KT sessions and prepare end-user training materials
- Ensure delivery of high-quality documentation for all project activities
🎯 Mandatory Skill Requirements
- ✅ 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD
- ✅ Minimum 1 end-to-end SAP SD implementation
- ✅ Expertise in:
- Pricing & Conditions
- Sales → Delivery → Billing lifecycle
- Output Management
- Intercompany & Third-Party processes
- ✅ Strong understanding of O2C business processes
- ✅ Experience in AMS / Production Support
- ✅ Good grasp of integration with MM, FI, PP, LE
🌟 Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with S/4HANA SD (especially Fiori apps & advanced pricing)
- Knowledge of SAP EWM or SAP TM touchpoints
- Exposure to Variant Configuration (VC)
- Familiarity with SAP BRF+ for Output Management
- SAP SD Certification
- Experience working with global stakeholders and complex business models
