About your role
The Analyst is responsible for delivering actionable insights that inform business decision-making across functions such as Sales, Marketing, Products & Investments, Investor Servicing, and Operations. This role goes beyond routine reporting, providing opportunities to interpret data, uncover trends, and contribute to the storytelling of business impact.
Working in a pod-based structure, the Analyst will partner with senior colleagues to translate data into meaningful insights, while building a strong foundation in advanced analytics, stakeholder communication, and strategic thinking.
Key skills required
1. Insights & Storytelling
· Analyse data to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks, going beyond “what happened” to “why it happened” and “what should be done.”
· Create clear, compelling data stories and visualisations tailored to business audiences.
· Contribute to presentations for senior stakeholders, ensuring insights are actionable and relevant.
2. Strategic Analysis & Business Impact
· Support pods in designing and running small-scale analytics projects that demonstrate business impact (e.g., product growth, sales drivers, client behaviour, client experience, retention analysis).
· Assist in evaluating KPIs and performance metrics, linking insights to business outcomes.
· Participate in hypothesis testing, segmentation analysis, and other techniques under guidance from senior colleagues.
3. Pod Collaboration
· Work across 1–2 business functions within a pod, balancing BAU delivery with strategic analysis.
· Collaborate with Senior colleagues to scope business questions and translate them into analysis plans.
· Document insights, methodologies, and business implications to ensure consistency and reusability.
4. BAU Delivery
· Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports with a focus on quality and efficiency.
· Streamline recurring analysis to free time for higher-value insight generation.
· Transition manual processes into automated solutions wherever possible.
5. Growth & Development
· Develop advanced analytics capabilities (predictive modelling, machine learning basics) through structured learning and exposure to real projects.
· Engage in knowledge-sharing sessions to learn business context and stakeholder management skills.
· Actively seek feedback and demonstrate progression toward higher-value analysis roles.
About you
Experience & Qualifications required:
· Bachelor’s/Master’s in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
Experience:
· Overall, 5 to 8 years of experience in Analytics, insights or consulting
· Ability to engage in discussion with senior stakeholders on defining business problems, designing analyses projects, and articulating analytical insights
· Strong working experience in building models for classification, regression, clustering, forecasting, recommendation, Deep Learning, NLP
· Strong experience of developing AI & Machine Learning solutions on cloud platforms like AWS
· Hands-on experience with popular development frameworks like Scikit-learn / TensorFlow / PyTorch.
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is needed
· Working knowledge of Gen AI would be an added advantage.
· Good understanding of SQL query development is desired; Familiarity with data platform like Snowflake would be an added advantage.
