Role: Agile Business Analyst
Experience: 5–7 years
Key Responsibilities
Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions.
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and project managers to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios and validating outcomes.
Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth delivery.
Create business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FSDs), and process flows.
Understand complex business and technical requirements.
Lead walkthroughs and 3 Amigos sessions.
Drive solution discussions and create solution design documents.
Define scope, approach, and specifications for business requirements.
Ensure solutions are fit for purpose and meet stakeholder expectations.
Coordinate across multiple systems and stakeholders (UK/India).
Act as proxy customer for development teams.
Drive user acceptance criteria and facilitate communication.
Contribute to BA forums and process improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on industry standards and emerging products.
Technical Skills:
Domain: Asset Management / Investment Banking
Strong SQL for data analysis.
API contract writing (Swagger); experience with API implementation.
Exposure to SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture).
AWS certification (preferred).
Business Analysis Skills:
Stakeholder management across geographies.
Business process re-engineering, gap analysis.
Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
Solution Design Specifications (SDS) with architects/developers.
Agile methodology familiarity (Stories, SDLC artifacts like SRA/SDS).
Soft Skills:
Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
Delivery-focused with strong customer awareness.
Tools & Technologies:
JIRA, Confluence, SQL Server, AWS, Swagger
