Your work profile

As Senior Consultant you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

  • Design, develop, and enhance Oracle APEX applications for Oracle Fusion and enterprise use cases
  • Build responsive user interfaces using APEX components, themes, and templates
  • Develop interactive reports, interactive grids, dashboards, and forms
  • Implement application logic using SQL, PL/SQL, and APEX processes
  • Support deployment, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization

Solution Design & Technical Integration

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into APEX application designs
  • Integrate APEX applications with Oracle Fusion, OIC, and third-party systems using REST APIs
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls
  • Support data models, database objects, and performance optimization
  • Ensure adherence to security, scalability, and coding best practices

Client Interaction & Collaboration

  • Participate in design workshops, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs
  • Work closely with functional consultants, OIC, and reporting teams to align APEX solutions with overall architecture
  • Provide clear explanations of application functionality to client stakeholders
  • Support UAT, defect resolution, and user training activities

Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Work under the guidance of Managers and Technical Leads
  • Review APEX developments done by junior team members and provide guidance
  • Contribute to reusable components, frameworks, and accelerators
  • Share best practices and updates within the APEX practice

Learning, Certification & Professional Development

  • Stay current with Oracle APEX and OCI releases and new features
  • Actively pursue Oracle APEX and OCI certifications
  • Build expertise in related technologies such as OIC, REST services, and Oracle Autonomous Database
  • Participate in internal capability-building initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory

  • 4–8 years of application development experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX
  • Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL
  • Experience integrating APEX applications with Oracle Fusion or other enterprise systems
  • Experience working in a global delivery or offshore model

Preferred

  • Experience in Big-4 or large system integrators
  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Applications or OCI services
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and OAuth-based security
  • Oracle APEX certification(s)
