Job Description: PMO – Client Facing (Government / Public Sector)

Role Overview:

PMO professional responsible for end-to-end project coordination, client engagement, governance, milestone tracking, and financial monitoring for IT/technology projects, preferably in government and public sector environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary interface for client communication and official correspondence
• Manage project plans, milestones, deliverables, and status reporting (WSR/MSR)
• Establish and track project governance, RAID logs, and review mechanisms
• Monitor project financials – budgeting, invoicing, and milestone-based billing
• Facilitate steering committee meetings and leadership reviews
• Ensure delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
• Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and performance metrics

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven PMO experience in IT projects with government/public sector clients
• Strong knowledge of Agile & Waterfall project management
• Expertise in project governance, reporting, and stakeholder management
• Experience in handling official communications and contractual deliverables
• Proficiency in MS Project/Jira or similar tools

Preferred:

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification
• Experience in transport/rail/metro or large infrastructure projects
