Qualification: BE/ B.Tech
Experience: 5+ Years in Government Healthcare Application Implementation, eGovernance Programs, or Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
The consultant will be responsible for supporting the implementation, enhancement, and continuous improvement of the eHospital NextGen platform across government healthcare institutions. The role requires close collaboration with healthcare administrators, state health departments, clinicians, program management units, and technical teams to ensure the platform effectively supports healthcare delivery objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support NIC team to conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder consultations to identify opportunities for application enhancement and process optimization.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for the development team.
- Provide domain expertise on healthcare workflows, patient lifecycle management, hospital operations, and eGovernance initiatives.
- Support configuration, integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment planning, and rollout activities.
- Coordinate with database, and application teams to ensure smooth implementation.
- Facilitate issue resolution during deployment and stabilization phases.
- Support the lifecycle of NextGen solution enhancements from requirement analysis to deployment and post-production support.
- Evaluate change requests and enhancement proposals for business value, technical feasibility, and alignment with product roadmap.
- Review Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, and process workflows.
- Ensure enhancements align with national healthcare standards, government policies, and digital health initiatives.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), OPD/IPD workflows, Appointment Systems, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Billing, and Clinical Operations.
- Understanding of ABDM
- Understanding of health insurance solution and NHCX.
- Experience in Government Healthcare Projects, eGovernance programs, ABDM Ecosystem, or large-scale public sector implementations.
- Business process analysis and requirements management expertise.
- Requirement analysis and solution design.
- API and system integration understanding.
- UAT coordination and release management.
- Database and application architecture fundamentals.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and product enhancement processes.
