 Your work profile

•     Plan and lead structured requirements-gathering workshops with client stakeholders to elicit, validate, and baseline business requirements across all functional areas.

•     Own and maintain the Business Requirements Document (BRD), ensuring it is complete, approved, and version-controlled throughout the engagement.

•     Establish and govern the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), ensuring every requirement is traceable from elicitation through to acceptance testing — with no scope creep or unauthorized deviations.

•     Translate approved requirements into detailed user stories, screen-level acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for handover to design and development teams.

•     Coordinate with the UI/UX team to validate that prototypes and design artefacts faithfully reflect documented requirements before development commences.

•     Define UAT scenarios and acceptance criteria for each release; assess UAT readiness and support the client through the acceptance process.

•     Lead requirements inputs for any concurrent procurement workstreams, including drafting functional specifications and scope definitions for related RFP documents.

•     Track open requirements, functional audit observations, and change requests; escalate material deviations to the Project Manager.

•     Recommend process improvements and functional enhancements based on study of comparable platforms and industry best practices.

•     Mentor and guide junior Business Analyst(s) on documentation standards, stakeholder engagement techniques, and quality of output.

Skill Required

Education Details

•     Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT / Management. MBA preferred.

•     Minimum 6–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale IT systems.

•     Domain Experience in government digital platforms, regulatory workflow systems, or complex multi-stakeholder portals. Central Government Ministry or regulatory body exposure preferred.

•     BA Methodology: Demonstrated expertise in BRD authoring, user story writing, workflow modelling, RTM governance, UAT planning, and functional auditing.

•     Procurement Support: Experience contributing to IT RFP preparation, particularly functional requirements specification and scope definition.

•     Standards Awareness: Familiarity with Government of India accessibility, compliance, and data protection standards applicable to digital platforms.

•     Certification: CBAP / CCBA / PMI-PBA. Agile BA or CSPO certifications are an added advantage.
