Relevant experience: Experience in Project construction & management for setting up of Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Process, Solar Module / Cell Manufacturing plants

Job Description:

·      Budgeting and Planning:

ü Develop detailed project budgets based on project scope and specifications

ü Analyze cost estimates, develop benchmarks and identify potential cost risks

ü Create cost breakdown structures (CBS) to track expenses at different project levels

·      Cost Monitoring and Analysis:

ü Review and monitor purchase orders to verify scope coverage, BoQ, items rates and reconcile with vendor invoices for accuracy

ü Regularly track actual project costs against the budget, identifying variances and analyzing the causes

ü Perform earned value analysis to assess project progress and forecast future costs

·      Cost Control Measures:

ü Analyze cost trends and recommend adjustments to project plans as needed

ü Collaborate with project teams to optimize resource utilization and reduce waste

ü Identify and implement cost-saving strategies to mitigate potential overruns

·      Reporting & communication of cost status, analysis, risks and mitigation plans

·      Evaluate change orders and their impact on cost & schedule

Skills & Requirements:

·      Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis

·      Expertise in project management methodologies and cost control techniques

·      Excellent understanding of project budgeting and forecasting

·      Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information effectively

Relevant experience in project cost control, ideally within the industry sector
