Your work profile

Role and Responsibilities:

As a DevOps Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing the development and deployment pipeline for our software products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Infrastructure Management & Automation:
  Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on automation using tools like Terraform, Helm, or similar infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development:
  Develop and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, enabling rapid and reliable software deployment cycles.
• Production-Grade Environments:
  Lead the setup and maintenance of production-grade environments in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure), ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Automation & Process Improvement:
  Continuously drive automation of repetitive tasks, helping to enhance software quality and operational efficiency.
• Security & Risk Management:
  Identify security gaps and perform vulnerability assessments, implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to the production environment.
• Incident & Problem Management:
  Handle incident response, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures for long-term resolution.
• Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
  Configure and optimize monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc.) to track system health, performance, and user experience metrics.
• Collaboration & Mentorship:
  Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of new features, and mentor junior team members to foster growth.
• Cloud Cost Management:
  Actively monitor cloud resources and suggest cost-saving strategies without compromising performance or scalability.

Skills & Expertise:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following technical skills and experience:

• Cloud Platforms:
  Strong expertise in managing and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure. GCP experience is preferred.
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC):
  Hands-on experience with IAC tools like Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Containerization & Orchestration:
  Proficient in containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with container orchestration and microservices architecture is a must.
• CI/CD & Automation Tools:
  Extensive experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar CI/CD tools. Understanding of automation and version control using Git.
• Monitoring & Observability:
  Expertise in setting up and using monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Splunk to ensure system uptime and performance.
• Scripting & Programming:
  Proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages for automation and tool development.
• Database & Messaging Systems:
  Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) for distributed system integration.
• Security & Compliance:
  Knowledge of DevOps security practices such as vulnerability scanning, patch management, and secure deployment strategies. Familiarity with DevSecOps is a plus.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams, including developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
