Job Title: Senior Consultant | Fusion Financial - PPM | Delhi | Oracle
Role Overview
The Senior Consultant – Oracle Financials & PPM is a hands-on delivery role responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions. The role requires strong functional expertise in Finance and Project Accounting, the ability to independently own assigned modules, and close collaboration with Managers and project leadership to deliver project-centric finance transformations for global clients.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Financials & PPM Implementation & Delivery
- Configure and implement Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) and PPM modules
- (Projects, Project Costing, Billing, Contracts, Grants)
- Support end-to-end implementation activities including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scenarios
- Execute unit testing and support SIT, UAT, and cutover activities
- Assist with post-go-live support and stabilization
Functional Analysis & Solution Design
- Analyze client finance and project accounting processes and map them to Oracle Fusion capabilities
- Support solution design for project costing, capitalization, billing, and revenue recognition
- Assist in Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud Financials-PPM migrations, including setup validation and data reconciliation
- Collaborate with OIC, Reporting (BIP/OTBI), and technical teams for integrations and reporting requirements
Client Interaction & Collaboration
- Participate in client workshops, design discussions, and solution walkthroughs
- Work closely with client Finance, PMO, and Project Accounting stakeholders
- Provide clear explanations of system functionality and business processes
- Support UAT cycles, defect resolution, and client sign-off activities
Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Work under the guidance of Managers and Functional Leads
- Support and review work of Consultants and junior team members
- Contribute to reusable assets, templates, and delivery accelerators
- Share best practices and learnings within the Financials-PPM practice
Learning, Certification & Professional Development
- Stay current with Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and new Financials-PPM features
- Actively pursue Oracle Fusion Financials and PPM certifications
- Develop deeper expertise in project-centric accounting and reporting
- Participate in internal capability-building initiatives
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
- 4–7 years of experience in Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud Applications
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials and PPM
- Experience working on at least one end-to-end Financials-PPM implementation
- Good understanding of finance, accounting, and project accounting concepts
- Experience working in a global delivery or offshore model
Preferred
- Experience in Big-4 or large system integrators
- Exposure to Oracle EBS Financials and Projects
- Experience with integrations (OIC), reporting (BI Publisher / OTBI), or data migration
- Oracle Fusion Financials and/or PPM certification(s)
