Job Title: Oracle Fusion Financial Senior Consultant

Job Summary

Deloitte is seeking a highly motivated Oracle Fusion Financial Senior Consultant to join its Enterprise Applications practice. This role focuses on delivering Oracle Cloud Financials solutions across the Record-to-Report lifecycle, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting. The candidate will play a key role in finance transformation programs, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation and support of Oracle Fusion Financials modules, primarily:
  • General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Financial Reporting
  • Drive requirement gathering sessions and map business processes to Oracle Cloud capabilities
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and design optimal R2R solutions
  • Configure Oracle Fusion Financials modules based on business and compliance requirements
  • Support period-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (P2P, O2C, Tax, Procurement) for integrated solutions
  • Assist in defining chart of accounts, ledger setups, and financial structures
  • Work with technical teams on integrations, reports (OTBI, BI Publisher), and data migration
  • Lead testing phases (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support
  • Identify opportunities for finance process optimization and automation
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge development

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in Oracle Financials, with at least 2–3 years in Oracle Fusion Financials (R2R)
  • Strong functional expertise in:
  • General Ledger (Journal Processing, Allocations, Consolidation)
  • Fixed Assets (Asset Lifecycle Management)
  • Financial Close and Reporting
  • Experience in at least 1–2 full-cycle Oracle Fusion Financials implementations
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes (IFRS/GAAP awareness preferred)
  • Exposure to financial reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View)
  • Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs) and data migration strategies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with finance stakeholders and leadership teams

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials certification
  • Experience in multi-ledger, multi-currency, and global implementations
  • Exposure to Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS) or EPM tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
