Job Title: Senior Consultant | GBS Implement: Process Specialist | Delhi | Finance Transformation
Position Summary
Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality work products for client’s Finance Transformation program under Process Redesign and TOM Documentation. You will lead process enhancement, standardize documentation, and ensure alignment with the Target Operating Model (TOM) across global finance towers. You will also mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution excellence.
Work You’ll Do
The key job responsibilities will be to:
- Lead process redesign efforts across PTP, OTC, RTR, and Business Control towers, addressing pain points and harmonizing workflows to enable global standardization.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and gap analysis to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions leveraging Deloitte’s methodologies and best practices.
- Develop and finalize process documentation including SOPs, DTPs, and TOM artifacts, ensuring compliance with internal control requirements and client standards.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops for process validation, socialize changes, and secure approvals from Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Internal Control teams.
- Manage documentation governance including review cycles, quality checks, and adherence to KPIs (e.g., First-Time-Right, on-time delivery).
- Support training enablement by preparing standardized documentation packages for onboarding and deployment.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to capture country-specific deviations and ensure alignment with the global operating model.
- Ensure risk management and compliance throughout process redesign and documentation phases.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend automation opportunities for long-term sustainability.
The Team
You will be part of Deloitte’s Finance Transformation team supporting client’s global program to harmonize operating models, standardize processes, and converge systems. The team focuses on delivering end-to-end process excellence and documentation maturity across multiple finance towers, enabling scalability and efficiency in a post-merger environment.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills / Project Experience:
- 4–6 years of experience in Finance Transformation, Process Design, and Documentation Standardization.
- Strong knowledge of finance processes across PTP, OTC, RTR, and Business Control.
- Hands-on experience in creating SOPs, DTPs, TOM frameworks, and governance models.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools and documentation standards.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, workshops, and change management.
Good to Have Skills / Certifications:
- Exposure to ERP systems (JDE, SAP) and finance automation tools.
- Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification.
- Familiarity with internal control frameworks and compliance requirements.
Education:
- MBA (Tier 1 and Tier 2 preferred)
- CA (preferred)
