Your work profile
As an Senior Consultant in our Crisis Resilience AI & Data you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations
Experience Required:
Minimum 4–7 years of professional experience in audit, taxation, accounting, and financial compliance across corporate, private, or public‑sector environments.
Key Skills & Expertise
- Strong understanding of statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit processes.
- Knowledge of direct tax, indirect tax, GST laws, and corporate compliance frameworks.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, audit documentation, and regulatory filings.
- Hands-on experience with TDS/TCS compliance, GST returns, and tax return preparation.
- Ability to analyze internal controls, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements.
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as Tally, ERP platforms, and tax/return filing software.
- Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel and documentation tools.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work across multiple assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits for various types of entities.
- Prepare and file tax audit reports, income tax returns, TDS returns, and GST returns.
- Review financial records, verify transactions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assess internal controls, identify non‑compliances, and propose corrective measures.
- Draft audit reports, working papers, and compliance summaries as required.
- Handle queries and submissions related to tax assessments, notices, and appeals.
- Support GST-related activities including monthly filings, annual returns, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
- Prepare financial analysis reports such as project feasibility, credit assessment documents, or funding-related financial statements.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, documentation, and support end‑to‑end financial closure processes.
- Coordinate with teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance timelines are met.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or taxation.
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance regulations.
- Experience handling diverse audit engagements across sectors.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage deadlines efficiently.
- Strong ethics, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Education -Graduation from Eng. Background Preferred
