The Team

Deloitte’s Tax and Technology practice focuses on delivering high-quality taxation advisory and

compliance services to government bodies and enterprises. The team works closely with clients to

navigate complex tax regulations, ensure compliance, and implement efficient tax strategies. With

strong expertise in indirect taxation, legal drafting, and regulatory frameworks, the team supports

clients in achieving compliance excellence and informed decision-making.

Your work profile

• We are looking for a skilled Indirect Tax (GST) professional with 4–7 years of experience to

deliver advisory, compliance, and litigation support services.

• The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GST compliance, tax advisory, and legal

drafting, along with experience in handling government or large enterprise clients.

Key skills required:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Indirect Taxation (GST)

• Strong expertise in GST compliance, return filing, and tax regulations

• Experience in drafting legal documents, replies to notices, and appeal memoranda

• Proven experience in tax advisory and consulting services

• Knowledge of indirect taxes including GST, VAT, and customs duties

• Experience in handling tax assessments, litigation support, and regulatory matters

• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and risk management in taxation

• Ability to conduct research, analysis, and provide actionable tax insights

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working with government departments or regulatory authorities is preferred

• Team collaboration and problem-solving capabilities

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent

• Additional certifications in GST, IPR Laws, or Management Development Programs

preferred
