Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of international trade trends, policies, and global market dynamics
• Support formulation and implementation of trade policies, export promotion strategies, and trade facilitation initiatives
• Work on bilateral and multilateral trade agreements (e.g., FTAs, CEPA, etc.), including impact assessment and stakeholder consultations.
• Provide analytical inputs for schemes related to export promotion (e.g., MSME exports, logistics, trade finance).
• Coordinate with government departments, export promotion councils, and industry associations
• Develop policy notes, concept papers, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders
• Analyze trade data using tools such as HS codes, trade databases, and econometric techniques
• Identify sectoral opportunities and challenges in key export markets
• Support capacity-building initiatives, workshops, and stakeholder outreach programs
• Track global developments such as supply chain shifts, trade barriers, and geopolitical impacts on trade

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of international trade frameworks, WTO provisions, and trade agreements.
• Proficiency in trade data analysis and tools (e.g., UN Comtrade, ITC Trade Map, DGFT data).
• Excellent research, analytical, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including government officials and industry leaders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Project management and coordination capabilities.

Educational Qualifications

• Batchelors degree in social sciences, engineering, CA, ICWA or related field.
• Additional certifications in trade policy, data analytics, or econometrics will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with government organizations, consulting firms, or international agencies.
• Exposure to export promotion schemes, trade finance, or logistics policy.
• Experience in handling trade-related projects at national or state level.
