Job Title:  Senior Consultant | OCI | Delhi | Oracle

Role Overview

The Senior Consultant – Oracle OCI is a hands-on technical delivery role responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions for Oracle Fusion and enterprise workloads. The role requires strong expertise in OCI core services, security, networking, and cloud operations, with the ability to independently manage infrastructure workstreams and collaborate with application, integration, and security teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle OCI Implementation & Delivery

• Design, configure, and deploy OCI environments including:
• Compute, Block, Object, and File Storage
• Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN), Subnets, Routing, and Load Balancers
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Compartments
• Implement OCI architectures to support Oracle Fusion, OIC, Autonomous Database, and custom workloads
• Support end-to-end cloud delivery activities including environment setup, testing, cutover, and go-live
• Perform post-go-live monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

Cloud Architecture, Security & Operations

• Implement OCI security best practices including IAM policies, network security groups, and encryption
• Support DR, backup, and high availability configurations
• Assist with OCI cost management, tagging strategies, and usage optimization
• Support patching, upgrades, and quarterly cloud maintenance activities
• Work with onshore architects to align solutions with enterprise cloud standards

Migration & Integration Support

• Support migrations from on-prem or other cloud platforms to OCI
• Assist in Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud transformation infrastructure readiness
• Collaborate with OIC, APEX, and reporting teams for secure connectivity and integrations
• Support hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity designs when required

Client Interaction & Collaboration

• Participate in technical workshops, design walkthroughs, and infrastructure reviews
• Work closely with application, integration, and security stakeholders
• Provide clear documentation and operational runbooks
• Support UAT, production readiness reviews, and client sign-offs

Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Work under the guidance of Managers and OCI Architects
• Mentor junior consultants on OCI concepts and operational best practices
• Contribute to reusable architecture patterns, templates, and automation scripts
• Share lessons learned and best practices within the Oracle OCI practice

Learning, Certification & Professional Development

• Stay current with OCI services, roadmap updates, and security enhancements
• Actively pursue Oracle OCI certifications (Foundations, Architect Associate/Professional)
• Build expertise in automation (Terraform, OCI Resource Manager), monitoring, and DevOps practices
• Participate in internal cloud capability-building initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory

• 4–7 years of overall IT experience with 2–4 years in Oracle OCI or cloud infrastructure
• Strong hands-on experience with OCI core services (Compute, Network, Storage, IAM)
• Experience supporting Oracle Fusion or enterprise application workloads on OCI
• Understanding of cloud security, networking, and high-availability architectures
• Experience working in a global delivery or offshore model

Preferred

• Experience in Big-4 or large global system integrators
• Exposure to DevOps tools, Terraform, or infrastructure automation
• Experience with Autonomous Database, OCI Monitoring, or Logging services
• Oracle OCI certification(s)
