Job Title: Senior Consultant | Oracle BRM | Delhi | Oracle
Role Overview
The Senior Consultant – Oracle BRM is a hands-on functional and technical delivery role responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) solutions for complex billing, charging, and revenue management scenarios. The role requires strong expertise in subscription billing, rating, invoicing, and revenue assurance, with the ability to independently manage assigned BRM workstreams and collaborate with upstream/downstream systems to deliver scalable monetization solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle BRM Implementation & Delivery
- Configure and implement Oracle BRM components including:
- Product and Price Management
- Rating, Discounting, and Charging
- Billing, Invoicing, and Collections
- Account and Customer Lifecycle Management
- Revenue Recognition and Adjustments
- Lead end-to-end BRM implementation activities including requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Prepare functional and technical design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scenarios
- Execute unit testing, support SIT, UAT, and cutover activities
- Assist with post-go-live stabilization, production support, and issue resolution
Functional & Technical Solution Design
- Analyze client monetization and billing processes and map them to Oracle BRM capabilities
- Design pricing models for subscription, usage-based, and hybrid billing scenarios
- Support integrations with upstream systems such as CRM, Order Management, and downstream systems including GL, AR, and Revenue Accounting
- Assist in legacy billing or custom platform migration to Oracle BRM
- Implement BRM best practices to ensure billing accuracy, scalability, and performance
Integrations, Customization & Reporting
- Work with technical teams on BRM customizations using:
- PCM/Java APIs
- Opcode development
- Event handling and batch processing
- Support integrations using OIC, REST APIs, or file-based interfaces
- Assist in BRM reporting, reconciliation, and revenue assurance activities
- Support month-end and billing cycle close processes
Client Interaction & Collaboration
- Participate in client workshops, solution walkthroughs, and design discussions
- Work closely with billing, finance, IT, and operations stakeholders
- Provide clear explanations of BRM configurations, billing flows, and revenue impacts
- Support UAT cycles, issue resolution, and client sign-off
Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Work under the guidance of Managers and BRM Architects
- Review and support work of Consultants and junior team members
- Contribute to reusable BRM configuration templates, pricing models, and accelerators
- Share best practices and lessons learned within the Oracle BRM practice
Learning, Certification & Professional Development
- Stay current with Oracle BRM releases, patches, and industry best practices
- Build expertise in related Oracle products such as OIC, Oracle Revenue Management, and Fusion Financials
- Actively pursue Oracle BRM or related Oracle certifications
- Participate in internal capability-building initiatives
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
- 4–7 years of experience in Oracle BRM or telecom/enterprise billing platforms
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle BRM configuration and customization
- Experience working on at least one end-to-end BRM implementation or transformation
- Strong understanding of billing, rating, invoicing, and revenue management processes
- Experience working in a global delivery or offshore model
Preferred
- Experience in Big-4 or large global system integrators
- Exposure to Telecom, Media, Utilities, or Subscription-based business models
- Experience with integrations (OIC, REST APIs), Oracle Revenue Management, or Fusion Financials
- Oracle BRM certification(s)
