Role Overview

The Senior Consultant – Oracle SCM Manufacturing is a hands-on delivery role responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Manufacturing solutions. The role requires strong functional expertise in manufacturing modules, the ability to independently own assigned components, and close collaboration with Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end manufacturing transformations for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle SCM Manufacturing Implementation & Delivery

• Configure and implement Oracle Fusion Manufacturing modules including:
• Inventory Management
• Bills of Material (BOM)
• Work in Process (WIP)
• Cost Management
• Manufacturing Execution (as applicable)
• Support end-to-end implementation activities including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scenarios
• Execute unit testing and support SIT, UAT, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization

Functional Analysis & Solution Design

• Analyze client manufacturing and supply chain processes and map them to Oracle Fusion capabilities
• Support solution design for discrete, process, and mixed-mode manufacturing
• Assist in Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud Manufacturing migrations, including setup validation and data reconciliation
• Collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Quality, Maintenance, Finance, and OIC teams for integrated solutions

Client Interaction & Collaboration

• Participate in client workshops, process walkthroughs, and solution design discussions
• Work closely with plant, operations, and supply chain stakeholders
• Provide clear explanations of system functionality and manufacturing processes
• Support UAT cycles, defect resolution, and user sign-off activities

Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Work under the guidance of Managers and Manufacturing Leads
• Support and review work of Consultants and junior team members
• Contribute to reusable assets, templates, and best practices
• Share learnings within the Oracle SCM Manufacturing practice

Learning, Certification & Professional Development

• Stay current with Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and new Manufacturing features
• Actively pursue Oracle SCM Manufacturing certifications
• Build deeper expertise in related SCM modules and industry best practices
• Participate in internal capability-building initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory

• 4–7 years of experience in Oracle SCM / Oracle Cloud Applications
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Manufacturing modules
• Experience working on at least one end-to-end Manufacturing implementation
• Good understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain concepts
• Experience working in a global delivery or offshore model

Preferred

• Experience in Big-4 or large system integrators
• Exposure to Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules
• Experience with Planning, Procurement, Quality, or Maintenance modules
• Exposure to integrations (OIC), reporting (OTBI / BI Publisher), or extensions (APEX)
• Oracle SCM Manufacturing certification(s)
