Role Overview

The Senior Consultant – Oracle SCM WMS is a hands-on delivery role responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions. The role requires strong functional expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and Oracle WMS modules, with the ability to independently own assigned workstreams and collaborate with Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end supply chain and warehouse transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle SCM WMS Implementation & Delivery

• Configure and implement Oracle Fusion WMS modules including:
• Inventory Organization and Locations
• Material Handling and Movement Rules
• Receiving, Shipping, and Put-away Processes
• Cycle Counting and Physical Inventory
• Work Execution, Waves, and Task Management
• Lead end-to-end implementation activities including requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scenarios
• Execute unit testing, support SIT, UAT, and cutover activities
• Assist with post-go-live stabilization and issue resolution

Functional Analysis & Solution Design

• Analyze client warehouse and inventory processes and map them to Oracle WMS functionality
• Provide solutions for inbound/outbound logistics, inventory movements, and warehouse operational efficiency
• Support Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud WMS migrations, including data reconciliation and validations
• Collaborate with Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, and Reporting teams for integrated solutions
• Implement best practices for warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, and reporting

Client Interaction & Collaboration

• Participate in client workshops, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs
• Work closely with warehouse, supply chain, and operations stakeholders
• Provide clear explanations of WMS functionality, process flows, and system behavior
• Support UAT cycles, issue resolution, and client sign-off

Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Work under the guidance of Managers and WMS Leads
• Review and support work of Consultants and junior team members
• Contribute to reusable templates, accelerators, and knowledge repositories
• Share best practices within the Oracle SCM WMS community

Learning, Certification & Professional Development

• Stay current with Oracle Fusion WMS features, quarterly updates, and emerging best practices
• Actively pursue Oracle SCM WMS certifications
• Build expertise in related SCM modules, integrations (OIC), and reporting (OTBI/BIP)
• Participate in internal capability-building initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory

• 4–7 years of experience in Oracle SCM / Oracle Cloud Applications
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion WMS modules
• Experience working on at least one end-to-end WMS implementation
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory, and supply chain processes
• Experience working in a global delivery or offshore model

Preferred

• Experience in Big-4 or large system integrators
• Exposure to Oracle Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, or Transportation modules
• Experience with integrations (OIC), reporting (OTBI / BI Publisher), or extensions (APEX)
• Oracle SCM WMS certification(s)
