Role Overview
The Senior Consultant – Oracle SCM EAM is a hands-on delivery role responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Enterprise Asset Management solutions. The role requires strong functional expertise in asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and work execution, with the ability to independently manage assigned modules and collaborate with Managers, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable asset management and maintenance transformations.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle SCM EAM Implementation & Delivery
- Configure and implement Oracle Fusion EAM modules including:
- Asset Master Data and Hierarchy Management
- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
- Work Orders and Maintenance Execution
- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
- Meter-Based and Condition-Based Maintenance
- Integration with Inventory, Procurement, and Manufacturing modules
- Lead end-to-end implementation activities including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scenarios
- Execute unit testing, support SIT, UAT, and cutover activities
- Assist with post-go-live stabilization, issue resolution, and process optimization
Functional Analysis & Solution Design
- Analyze client asset management and maintenance processes and map them to Oracle Fusion EAM capabilities
- Provide recommendations for preventive maintenance, work order management, and asset lifecycle optimization
- Support Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud EAM migrations, including setup validation and data reconciliation
- Collaborate with Inventory, Procurement, Maintenance, and Finance teams for integrated EAM solutions
- Implement best practices to improve asset utilization, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance costs
Client Interaction & Collaboration
- Participate in client workshops, solution walkthroughs, and design discussions
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, and plant stakeholders
- Provide clear explanations of EAM functionality, process flows, and reports
- Support UAT cycles, issue resolution, and client sign-off
Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Work under the guidance of Managers and EAM Leads
- Review and support work of Consultants and junior team members
- Contribute to reusable templates, accelerators, and knowledge repositories
- Share best practices and lessons learned within the Oracle SCM EAM practice
Learning, Certification & Professional Development
- Stay current with Oracle Cloud EAM features, quarterly updates, and emerging best practices
- Actively pursue Oracle SCM EAM or related certifications
- Build expertise in related SCM modules, reporting (OTBI / BI Publisher), and integrations (OIC)
- Participate in internal capability-building initiatives
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
- 4–7 years of experience in Oracle SCM / Oracle Cloud Applications
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion EAM modules
- Experience working on at least one end-to-end EAM implementation
- Strong understanding of asset management, preventive maintenance, and work order processes
- Experience working in a global delivery or offshore model
Preferred
- Experience in Big-4 or large system integrators
- Exposure to Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, or Finance modules
- Experience with integrations (OIC), reporting (OTBI / BI Publisher), or extensions (APEX)
- Oracle SCM EAM certification(s)
