Senior Consultant – HCM Time Management

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant – HCM Time Management to lead and support the design, implementation, and support of SAP HCM Time Management solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in time evaluation, work schedules, leave management, and integrations with Payroll and other HCM modules.

Key Responsibilities

Time Management Implementation & Support

  • Lead end-to-end SAP HCM Time Management implementations and support activities
  • Configure work schedules, shift planning, time quotas, absences, attendances, and leave policies
  • Manage time evaluation schemas and rules

Functional Expertise

  • Design and configure time recording methods (positive/negative time)
  • Handle overtime, shift differentials, substitutions, and time balances
  • Ensure seamless integration of Time Management with Payroll and OM/PA
  • Support testing phases including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Gather and analyse business requirements from HR and business users
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications and system configurations
  • Work closely with technical teams for enhancements, reports, and interfaces
  • Provide functional guidance and mentoring to junior consultants

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and statutory regulations
  • Support audits, reconciliations, and time data validations
  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as functional specs, configuration documents, and user manuals

 

 

 

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP HCM Time Management
  • In-depth knowledge of time evaluation, work schedules, and absence/attendance management
  • Experience with time integration to Payroll and third-party time systems
  • Understanding of country-specific labour and time regulations (India preferred)

Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in SAP HCM Time Management
  • Experience in at least one end-to-end HCM Time Management implementation
  • AMS / support project experience is a plus

  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage critical timelines
  • Strong team collaboration and mentoring skills

Education & Certifications

  • Graduation Degree
  • SAP HCM Time Management certification preferred
