As a Senior Consultant in our Consulting team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll:
- Takes responsibility for own work or workstream meeting engagement/project objectives and Deloitte quality standards
- Develop solution using Salesforce configure and customization features.
- Proactively identifies workstream risks and issues; resolves them or escalates to engagement/account leadership
- Identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of key processes within a business function
- Builds knowledge in a sector by contributing to relevant firm initiatives and eminence, and/or by attending sector conferences
- Applies awareness of global trends to address client needs and enhance recommendations
- Understands the impact of emerging technologies on relevant functions and processes
Responsibilities
Transforming business needs into Salesforce implementations.
Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code with best practices.
Ensure the best possible quality of the application.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation for the application, like user guides, release notes and design documents.
Ensuring the quality and performance of Salesforce solutions through rigorous testing and debugging.
Participate in code reviews to ensure that the best practices for the existing and new Salesforce solutions are implemented.
Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields.
Stay updated with new Salesforce features & functionalities and recommend best practices to enhance the existing Salesforce implementations.
Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development.
Collaborating with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
Preferred skills and qualifications
7-9 years of Salesforce development experience
Proven experience as a Salesforce developer, including a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, its architecture, and its limitations.
Able to work independently.
Salesforce certifications, like Platform Developer I or II, App Builder or Administrator.
Strong understanding of SOQL and SOSL.
Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
Experience working with Salesforce Experience Cloud or other collaboration tools.
Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Experience on Platform Events and CDC
Experience working on Salesforce flows.
Good Knowledge and experience on Salesforce security and sharing models.
Experience working on Apex (Classes and Triggers), Lightning Component and other Salesforce development technologies.
Experience working on Synchronous and Asynchronous process.
Experience working on REST, SOAP and Bulk API’s.
Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other Salesforce team members.
Desired qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in management or consulting oriented environment.
- At least 3-4 end to end SFDC implementation experience in India or globally
- Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) from premier institutes
Location and way of working.
- Base location: PAN India
- Willingness to travel for short- and long-term durations
