Job Title: Senior Consultant | Social Impact Advise | Delhi | Finance Transformation
The Team
Deloitte’s Social Impact (SI) practice plays a catalytic role by supporting clients in navigating
through policies and issue networks to achieve their key developmental goals. The SI practice
engages professionals with core development sector expertise while leveraging from the extensive
consulting expertise within the Deloitte network, to bring about social progress. The SI
professionals have offered contextually relevant solutions to clients that includes Corporates,
Governments, Businesses, NGOs, Bilateral Agencies, CSR and Philanthropic Foundations. Deloitte’s
cross-functional teams help clients with strategy, growth and innovation, capacity building,
monitoring and evaluation, advisory research, program design and management and aligned
action.
Work you’ll do
The Consultant is responsible for contributing to a discrete work stream (or module) within a broader
project. This can involve research for strategy design, creating a measurement framework,
designing reporting templates, tools and structuring MIS systems. Another work responsibilities
can include conducting periodic Programmatic reviews for the projects, key stakeholder
interactions, validation of outputs, outcomes and interaction with beneficiaries . Being a great
team player and building out development solutions to key societal challenges.
The responsibilities of Consultant can include:
· Working with partners, managers, senior consultants and clients to develop and implement
transformation objectives and work plans
· Thinking through strategic imperatives and levers and then working with client and teams
to deliver meaningful results
· Working with client teams to design and implement design imperatives
· Developing insights from research and integrating the module’s findings to ensure
achievement of objectives
· Conduct appropriate market/ secondary/ primary research and analysis to provide insights
to client team
· Communicating analysis, recommendations and status updates in both written and oral
communication with internal and client leadership
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a degree from a top-tier MBA/ Masters/ Development studies/
Humanities/ Social work program, have a 3- 6 years of relevant work experience, and the ability to
meet each of the following criteria:
· A strong and demonstrated interest in consulting specially in thinking through large and
complex transformation exercises
· Background or experience (through coursework or employment) in Development sector/
Social Sector.
· Strong research and understanding of measurement frameworks, approaches, methods,
tools and techniques
· A base level of knowledge in development sector policy, strategy, finance, operations, data
analysis and research techniques
· Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and/ or graduate coursework
· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
· Leadership qualities, project management skills
· Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently
· Willingness to travel to remote tier-3 locations
