The team

As a member of the Operation, Industry and domain solutions team you will embark on an exciting and fulfilling journey with a group of intelligent and innovative globally aware individuals.

We work in conjuncture with various institutions solving key business problems across a broad spectrum roles and functions, all set against the backdrop of constant industry change.

 Your work profile

•     Define and own the overall solution architecture across application, data, integration and infrastructure layers, aligned to documented business and functional requirements.

•     Produce High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) artefacts, architecture diagrams and technology decision logs for stakeholder review and approval.

•     Establish engineering standards and guidelines covering coding, API design, data modelling, version control, DevOps and quality assurance.

•     Design the integration architecture with external systems, third-party services and Government digital infrastructure, ensuring interoperability and compliance.

•     Define non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, availability, observability and disaster recovery; validate that the design meets agreed NFR targets.

•     Embed security-by-design principles, ensuring the solution aligns with applicable cybersecurity standards, CERT-In advisories, DPDP Act, ISO 27001 and ITSP requirements.

•     Design for the target cloud environment, including capacity planning, blue-green / canary deployment patterns, infrastructure-as-code standards and disaster-recovery architecture.

•     Guide and review the work of developers and technology consultants, conducting design walkthroughs and code reviews at key milestones.

•     Support the Business Analyst team in translating requirements into technical specifications and user stories suitable for development.

•     Assess architectural risks, technology trade-offs and technical debt; recommend mitigation strategies to program leadership and the Steering Committee.

•     Participate in architecture review boards, technical steering forums and stakeholder design reviews.

 Key Skills Required

·      Application architecture — microservices, modular monoliths, event-driven and API-first design

·      Data architecture — polyglot persistence, data modelling, ETL / CDC and master-data management

·      Integration architecture — REST, async messaging, API gateways and secure third-party integration

·      Security architecture — OAuth2 / OIDC, MFA, RBAC / ABAC, encryption and secrets management

·      Cloud and DevOps — Kubernetes, Terraform / IaC, GitOps, observability and DR design

·      NFR engineering — performance modelling, load testing, capacity planning and SLO definition

·      Architectural governance — ADRs, ARBs and technical mentorship of Tech Leads

Education Details

·      Educational Qualification Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering / Technology / Computer Science / Information Systems.

·      Total Experience Minimum 10–15 years of software engineering experience, including at least 6 years in a Solution or Enterprise Architect capacity for large multimodule platforms.

·      Government IT Experience Hands-on Experience in designing architectures for Central Government Ministries, Regulators or Statutory Bodies; familiarity with government-cloud environments or comparable controlled-environment cloud.

·      Delivery Model Exposure Hands-on experience leading architecture in Agile / Scaled Agile delivery models, with mature engineering and DevOps practices.

·      Standards Awareness Strong working knowledge of MeitY guidelines, CERT-In advisories, DPDP Act, ISO 27001 and ITSP; familiarity with GIGW and WCAG 2.1 AA.

·      Certifications TOGAF 9 / 10 Certified / AWS or Azure Solutions Architect Professional / CKA / CISSP / CCSP
