Your work profile
As an Associate Director in our SRT- Sustainability Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
Deloitte India is keen to hire a seasoned professional to work with the existing leadership team in the Sustainability practice. The objective is to bring a leader with strong experience who will help in executing Deloitte’s Social Assessment offerings. We are looking for candidates with approximately 13+ years of relevant experience in India and South Asia, which may comprise of a mix of work experience in two or more of the following areas:
- Impact Assessments and evaluations (SIA/ ESIA )
- Land Resettlement & Relocation Surveys and Plan (R&R, RAP)
- Livelihood Restoration Survey and Plan (LRP)
- Need Assessment & CSR Audit
- ESG Due Diligence
- Labor Audit
As a leader, you should be able to assist clients:
- Participation in social and land related engagements for multiple sectors as per regulatory requirements and international standards
- Participation in field work, surveys and client meetings related to various social & land related engagements.
- Defend your findings and observations with clients and related beneficiaries.
- Contribute towards report writing, reviewing and value addition.
- Contribute towards business development with active outreach and sales
You will be responsible for the business P&L and the growth of the resources reporting into you
Desired qualifications
- Postgraduate (Preferably Masters in Social / Developmental Studies / Anthropology)
- Professional experience of 13 years+
- Good understanding and interpretation of key international ESG frameworks and standards (e.g. E&S Standards of multilateral funding agencies (IFC, World Bank, ADB, Equator Principles, etc.)
- Good understanding of India’s regulatory framework for Social & Labor aspects
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Language skills (excellent written and spoken English skills).
- Cross sectoral understanding with deeper marketing skills with client centric approach
- Should have strong advisory experience across geographies, with proven experience of leading high-performance teams
Location and way of working
- Base location: Mumbai / Gurugram/ Bangaluru
- This profile involves frequent travelling to client location
