About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Copado DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize Salesforce release management processes using Copado. The role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, streamlining deployments, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with developers, admins, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage CI/CD pipelines in Copado for Salesforce projects.
- Implement automated deployments, version control strategies (Git branching), and change management best practices.
- Integrate Copado with external tools such as Jira, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, and testing frameworks.
- Manage user stories, commits, and deployments across multiple Salesforce environments.
- Troubleshoot deployment failures and provide root-cause analysis.
- Monitor and optimize release processes to improve speed, quality, and reliability.
- Ensure compliance, security, and audit readiness for all Salesforce releases.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers, admins, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
- Provide training and guidance to teams on Copado best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, Release Management, or CI/CD.
- Strong hands-on experience with Copado (must-have).
- Solid understanding of Salesforce metadata, deployments, and packaging.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control and branching strategies.
- Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and automated testing frameworks in Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Copado certifications (e.g., Copado Fundamentals I & II, Copado Consultant).
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer I/II, etc.).
- Familiarity with other DevOps tools (Gearset, AutoRABIT, Jenkins).
- Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.) with audit/compliance needs.
