Job Title:  T&T | Cyber : CST | SAM | Bangalore | Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• SAM Process Ownership & Execution:
• Lead and manage end-to-end Software Asset Management lifecycle across the organization.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SAM policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with software licensing terms and conditions.
• ISO/IEC 19770 Alignment:
• Conduct periodic SAM maturity assessments to benchmark and improve SAM capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on ISO SAM maturity model outcomes.
• ELP (Effective License Position) Review:
• Perform regular ELP reviews to assess license compliance and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to validate entitlements and contracts.
• Identify risks related to under-licensing or over-licensing and recommend mitigation strategies.
• SAM Tool Management & Optimization:
• Administer and optimize SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow SAM Pro, etc.).
• Integrate SAM tools with CMDB, procurement, and ITSM platforms for accurate data flow.
• Ensure tool configurations support automated discovery, normalization, and reconciliation.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Work closely with IT, procurement, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment on SAM goals.
• Provide training and awareness sessions on SAM best practices across departments.
• Reporting & Analytics:
• Generate dashboards and reports on software usage, compliance status, and cost savings.
• Present insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
