Your work profile
As a PingID Engineer in our Cyber: Identity Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
As a PingID Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the PingID authentication platform within our organization. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in PingID implementation and administration, you will play a critical role in ensuring secure and seamless access to our systems and applications.
- You will deploy and configure PingID authentication solutions according to organizational requirements.
- You will be responsible to customize authentication workflows, policies, and user interfaces to align with security standards and user experience objectives.
- You will manage day-to-day operations of the PingID platform, including user provisioning, authentication policy management, and system monitoring.
- You need to perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system functionality.
- You will collaborate with internal teams to integrate PingID with existing identity and access management (IAM) systems, single sign-on (SSO) solutions, and other enterprise applications.
- You will provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve authenticationrelated issues and ensure uninterrupted service availability.
- You will implement and enforce security best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) related to authentication and access control.
- You need to conduct periodic security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks proactively.
- You will create comprehensive documentation, guides, and knowledge base articles to facilitate the onboarding process for new users and administrators.
- You will deliver training sessions and workshops to educate stakeholders on PingID functionality, best practices, and security protocols.
- You need to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new features in the PingID ecosystem.
- You will evaluate and recommend enhancements to existing authentication workflows, processes, and infrastructure to improve security posture and user experience.
Desired qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and administering PingID authentication solutions.
- Good understanding of identity and access management principles, protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth), and standards (e.g., OIDC).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and customization tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Location and way of working
- Base location: PAN India
- This profile involves frequent / occasional travelling to client locations.
