Job Description for the position of Data Scientist

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

1.      BE/BTech/MCA

2.      Minimum 10 years of experience as a data scientist in analytics projects

3.      At least 5 years of experience in AI-ML, advanced analytics

4.      Certified Data scientist / analyst or equivalent.

5.      Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

6.      Hands on exposure in implementation and understanding of full life cycle of statistical techniques and AI-ML algorithms on all sort of data. (Structured, Un-Structured and Semi-Structured).

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

1.      Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

2.      Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and inform decision-making.

3.      Design, develop, and implement predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques.

4.      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

5.      Develop and deploy machine learning models for various applications, such as customer segmentation, predictive maintenance, and demand forecasting.

6.      Updated with the current industry trends and advancements in machine learning technologies.

7.      Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to integrate analytical solutions into operational processes.

Job Description for the position of Data Engineer

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  1. B.Tech/BE/MCA.
  2. Proven minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ETL development with IBM Datastage, Watsonx.data, with a strong understanding of data lakewarehousing concepts and data management techniques.
  3. Proficiency in IBM ETL tools such as IBM Datastage, Watsonx.data and expertise in SQL, scripting languages, and data modeling.
  4. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing complex ETL processes in a large-scale national level project.
  5. Experience in design, development, monitoring and testing of data pipelines using IBM Datastage and Watsonx.data.
  6. Hands on exposure in handling of structured/semi structured/Un structured data using big data platform such as Hadoop/Spark/Kafka.
  7. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

 

Desirable Qualification:

Certifications in IBM ETL tools will be preferred.

  1. Develop and maintain ETL processes for extracting data from various sources, transforming it into meaningful formats, and loading it into the data lakewarehouse.
  2. Design and implement scalable, high-performance ETL solutions that meet business requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document data requirements, ensuring the ETL solutions align with business needs.
  4. Optimize ETL processes for improved efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
  5. Perform data validation and quality assurance to guarantee the accuracy and consistency of data in the data warehouse.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality and ETL processes.
  7. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in ETL, proposing and implementing improvements as needed.
