The team

As a member of the Operation, Industry and domain solutions team you will embark on an exciting and fulfilling journey with a group of intelligent and innovative globally aware individuals.

We work in conjuncture with various institutions solving key business problems across a broad-spectrum roles and functions, all set against the backdrop of constant industry change.

Your work profile

·      Design and implement end-to-end data analytics solutions and dashboards using Power BI or equivalent tools

·      Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

·      Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for structured and unstructured data

·      Lead the development of analytical models to track KPIs, athlete performance, and operational efficiency

·      Integrate and analyze data from multiple microservices and third-party APIs (e.g., federations, event management, funding systems)

·      Implement predictive and AI/ML-based analytics using tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or cloud-based AI services

·      Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards in all analytics activities

·      Collaborate with business analysts and product teams to translate business needs into analytical outputs

·      Validate and optimize database queries for performance and accuracy

·      Leverage AI-powered analytics assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Power BI Copilot) to automate data summaries and reporting

·      Support the creation of metadata models and maintain data dictionaries for transparency

Essential Skills:

·      Strong proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB

·      Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent visualization platforms

·      Working knowledge of ElasticSearch, ETL processes, and data pipelines

·      Familiarity with Python/R for data modeling and automation

·      Understanding of AI/ML concepts for predictive analytics and trend detection

·      Awareness of data privacy and governance frameworks in public-sector systems

·      Excellent analytical, visualization, and problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills:

·      Prior experience in the IT domain within the sports sector, either in a government or corporate environment, is desired.

·      Domain Preference: Candidates with prior experience in sports data analytics, athlete/federation performance dashboards, or digital ecosystem data management will be preferred.

Education Details

·      Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field

·      4–8 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or data engineering for digital platforms

·      Good to have Certification: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Power BI Certification, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate
